Longest Day Ever

That would be today. It started at somewhere around seven, as the plan was to go get new IDs at eight in the morning. I haven't gotten one yet, but Meg and John did. We were also going to claim a library desk, but couldn't because they're putting in new carpet or something like that, so all the desks have been moved. And then we came back and took naps and stuff. Except that I napped before everyone else and sat out on the balcony listening to music while the others had their naps.

Yesterday was pretty uncomfortable, with a fight in the apartment that I was somewhat witness too. Then, when we were at dinner up at the Delta, toward the end of the meal this woman at the next table very loudly announces that she was raped twice when she was young. Not the kind of thing you expect to hear at dinner ever. And after we got back, we all fell asleep on Meg's bed. I eventually left, as I was nearly falling off the bed, getting kicked in the head, and really wanted lots of pillows, since I'm sick and trying to sleep with your head not elevated when you have a cold sucks.

Housing search continues.

Just found out by e-mail that Brian (Ian's dad) died a couple days ago.
