Eppy Eppy Arrrrrrrg
Mar. 19th, 2004 02:05 amThe techie gods must be angry. Our lighting keeps going on the fritz. And for the past couple days we've had a big triangular shadow in the middle of the stage. And the alleyway has light from only one side. One of our cast members also does lighting, so he took a look at it and got it working today. And when we started rehearsal, it quit working again. Yay for ancient electrical systems!
Yesterday was cue-to-cue, which is tiring. During the show, I at least get a bit of a break between cues, and don't have to go over them multiple times. Today was final dress, and everything was fine on my end. Otherwise, we have the crazy lights, and a few skips, and a couple things out of place, some things that went less than smootly (like set changes, which the mackerel take care of). Costumes finally got in place yesterday. And tomorrow we open. Eek!
And I should get to sleep, because is going to be a long day. Getting up early to do last-minute stuff for the show with Gabrielle, study session after that, then the show, and then partying after the show. And sometime before the show I'm going to get some Swedish fish, because I think it would be amusing to show up eating them. And I'll share, of course.
