Because Sitting Around Is So Hard...

I left my take home exam for Philosophy & Literature until today. (Only got it yesterday...) But I managed to finish and turn it in at 1:30. It was rather nice to not have to stop and rush off to class and then frantically try to finish by five.

In other news, I'm definitely sick, but it's not so bad. I sound worse than I feel.

Philosophy & Literature is cancelled tomorrow, because the professor is having knee surgery. (Hence the take home exam.) And I'd already finished the reading for Drugs & Lit., because we read a book a week and have a quiz on Tuesdays. Well, we'll have six total, and so far we've had one for Alice and for Jekyll and Hyde. Anyway, point is, because of that I didn't have much homework tonight. Did catch up on the Indo-European reading I didn't do for today because the printer in the English department was apparently having problems and I couldn't be arsed to wait or go over to the SUB. So, I watched a bunch of TV. I still hadn't watched last week's installment of "In Search of Shakespeare," so I watched that today before this week's installment aired. And then I watched The O.C., which is the only soap opera I've ever followed.

Tomorrow is the MSSA meeting. There's someone's thesis defence before it, and I'm trying to decide if I want to just hang around campus and go to that too, or just come home for a bit after classes and go back for the meeting.

Dissertation defense, actually.
Karmen (A friend of Mary, the dessertation defendee) has told me a bit about it, and it sounds utterly fascinating.

I only wish I were able to go.

Dissertation, thesis... yeah.

And I totally realized just now that I used the British spelling for "defense."

And I think I will go. Because it does sound quite interesting.

I noticed. I also just now noticed that I uberly mistyped Dissertationm the second time around.

Mmm, dessertation. Sounds nice and chocolatey.

Mmm, chocolate...

I had some the other day, and it was mildly disastrous because my throat was sore at the time. Bad idea.

Yay British! I'm slowly turning into an Anglophile. And the Britishisms are eating my brains. Or something.

At first, the anti-ass comment confused me, but then I remembered who the term was applied to.

I also blame you for Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

Heheh. I will gladly take responsibility for Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Especially if I get perks. Do I get perks with this responsibility? Like... Jonathan Rhys Meyers on my doorstep, perhaps? I mean, if I'm taking responsibility for him, we'll need to meet every so often and have progress reports.

You'll have to do that on your own initiative. Because you're the one responsible.
