May. 31st, 2002 02:56 amLast week when I went to Sarah's, my parents didn't say a word. But this week it was, "Did you ask your mother?" "Where are you going?" "What friend is this?" "Where does she live?" and on the way out the door, my mom says, "Lock your doors. No drinking and driving. No drugs. What else? No boys. No girls." Oy. I'm twenty years old. I don't think I require such warnings anymore.
Anyway, there wasn't a gathering of people this week, so we just watched TV while Sarah entertained us with her loopiness from the Benadryl and ibuprofen. Then we went driving around the fairgrounds at one in the morning, looking to see if her roommate was there. After an unsuccessful search, off to Frontier at 1:30. And even at that hour there were Academy people there. It's almost impossible to go to Frontier without seeing anyone you recognize.
So now I'm home and not planning to sleep, so that maybe I can get onto something like normal sleeping hours. No more of this falling asleep after sunrise and sleeping until late afternoon nonsense.
