Dec. 3rd, 2002 09:38 amI've been up all night. It helped that a lot that I'd been asleep until four in the afternoon yesterday. I'd gone to bed relatively early, listening to music while I fell asleep and started dreaming about eating German food. But I woke myself up in the process of turning off the music, and before I could actually get back to sleep, one of my housemates decided that it was necessary to start a new load of laundry at 1:30 in the morning. So back went the music, and eventually I fell asleep again.
I slept through classes, and then, since I didn't have o-chem lab this week, I didn't see any compelling reason to get up. Plus, I hit a moment of half-asleep/half-awake that was so nice I just wanted to stay there forever. But I did get up eventually. After all, I had orchestra rehearsal to go to. And work to do.
I got into work mode and managed to sustain that all night, with a few Snood breaks. Then back to campus before the library was open (but I beat it by only five minutes), and then up the hill and to the bank before that opened. So, I went to Safeway to use up the time. And then I got to the door of the bank as they were unlocking it. So yeah, it's early. And I'm not tired. (Sleep is the enemy.)
