I am excessively glittery. And I need new pants.
I wore a new, glittery shirt today, so now there is glitter everywhere, especially my black pants. And these pants are the only pair I have that are both comfortable and wearable. All the others either don't fit right or are falling apart.
My sister's baby shower was today, so there were quite a few family members around. There were many exclamations of, "Oh, that's so CUTE!" but not so many as to have gotten on my nerves. Plus, I won a couple of the prizes. And apparently I am the only one in my family who knows the nursery rhyme about Doctor Foster.
But, I've gotten very little homework done because of that, so I'll have a lot tomorrow. Especially with a midterm Monday morning.
Went to play rehearsal Thursday. I'll have to go all next week, because we're getting close to opening and so I'll be more useful.
Yesterday I got the second homework for Indo-European back. And I had a perfect score. And I'd had a nearly-perfect score on the quiz. I have my doubts about doing so well on the midterm. For everything else I've been able to look at my notes and look stuff up in the books. At least I get to prepare for the essay ahead of time. (But will I take full advantage of that opportunity? In typical fashion, probably not.)
The Leibniz quiz for Phil. 202 was Wednesday. I think it went better than the Descartes quiz, and that one wasn't too shabby. We had ten extra minutes for this one. And I'm pretty sure I adequately explained everything necessary. So I'm pretty with that result, particularly since I'd had concentration issues while studying.
In other news, there is no other news.
