Aug. 23rd, 2004 11:47 pmSo tired. Classes started today. All interesting so far. My Latin TA is also in the Sanskrit class. And he knows Greek, Old English, and Old Norse, among other languages. Awesome. Acting was fun and not nervous-making, even though I've never met anyone in the class before. Have to keep a journal for the class though. Bleh.
Saturday was my sister's wedding shower, which was actually less of a shower and more of an excuse for the family to get together. Though we did get showers in the sense of rain. And my soon-to-be brother-in-law climbed a tree. There was also a massive frisbee game. And by "massive" I mean four people, three frisbees, and chaos. Also, I mock fenced with my cousin, armed with a blue plastic bat and he with a red plastic hockey stick. I won. Mom pulled the grandkids around the yard in the wagon. I, being busy with the wine, missed out on most of the food. Not that I didn't eat, I just didn't get the good stuff, like the chicken on a stick. Afterward, my cousin bought me a long-overdue 21st birthday drink. (Like, two years later.)
Yesterday I got up early for a weekend to have breakfast with my sister et al. before she and Mike went back to Denver. Then they left and I took a nap and stuff. And now I should sleep, because it was a long day, and more class tomorrow.
