Jan. 2nd, 2005 12:25 amDrug Czar John Walters recently pronounced Canadian hydroponic cannabis "the crack of marijuana." Hee! It's crackajuana! (Yeah, only a few will get that.) But there are some very silly things said in that article, and in this one as well. Sometimes I'm very glad I haven't lost my sense of humor.
Holidays were good. I got the extended edition of Return of the King and a USB drive for Christmas. Spent the day with the entire family, as I have for the past 23 years. Well, except for my sister Monica, because she and Mike didn't come down from Denver for whatever reason. She didn't say anything about that during our very brief phone conversation, and no one ever tells me these things. Ah well. I still need to go return the wine I got for my mom. The strawberry wine was more like strawberry vinegar. Not fit for drinking. New Year's was pretty quiet. I won at Trivial Pursuit and we toasted with sparkling apple cider. Missed MNF last week due to watching LotR with Alexis. Well, two thirds of it. Finally did my Christmas shopping two days before Christmas and managed to find a pull toy for my nephew and an unplanned gift for my sister. Otherwise, I've been pretty darn lazy. Oh, watched Dodgeball last week. It was a lot better than I'd expected.
And behind the cut, ( things I did while I was bored, er, proscrastinating during finals. )
