Spent several hours studying plant families, thus concentrating on just that one thing for at least five hours, then off to a good Hum play rehearsal, and then home to an e-mail asking about a paper I haven't written and informing me that I'm getting a C- in Musical Aesthetics and the clock is ticking. As for that last bit, I don't give a flying fuck. One C- a semester is par for the course for me, at least here at Reed, and this class is only bulk credit anyway. So, *thumbs nose at Bill Peck*.

And tomorrow I'm going on a field trip to schlep around in the rain looking at flowers for three hours. And speaking of flowers, I just have to note that my whole perception of them has changed since taking this class.
