After some initial reviews, I've decided to take a poll.

[Poll #41725]

If it proves difficult to read for enough people, I just might have many happy hours of more tinkering ahead of me.

Some other stuff. )

Brain: Pinky, are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Pinky: I think so brain, but couldn't one get crazy with the LJ tags without subjecting other people to it?
Brain: Pinky, sometimes you astound me with your failure to grasp the small amount of exhibitionism inherent in keeping an online journal.

Oh, it's late at night/early in the morning...

I've made yet another color change. This should now be readable and harmonious. The orange doesn't look as ghastly to me, and the text color is brighter. It looks pretty good on my screen, but I also have a laptop, which tends to display colors a bit differently. I also managed to get the site's pages to not be stuck in German anymore. It's a bit hard to try and play with styles when everything about it is in your second language. But, with everything in English, I played around with the styles and supposedly changed the comment link text, but they've showed up as changed only once. Eh. I'll sort it out. My friends page was on crack yesterday too, because a bunch of people suddenly disappeared off of it, even though everyone was still listed that should be. Sometimes, there's just no way to understand.

Today was exciting postal wise. A couple bits of junk mail, credit card bill, and two magazines. Time to get my financial affairs in order. My checkbook is way behind, and I've had a bank statement sitting on my floor unopened for several weeks. So I have to coordinate all that, and check my statement online, because I have spent money recently. Then I have more things to pay for.

Tomorrow I will hopefully see my niece. Friday is the day my sister usually brings her over. Then there's hanging out with Lex et al. and the EFO concert at the zoo. That should be interesting, as I've heard only one of their songs. But they have one called "Tommy the Canexican," which makes me think of Tim and his theory on Canada - it's just like Mexico except up north and different.

It got windy and stormy today, but even that wasn't enough to dispel the staleness. Maybe some lightning will electrify things.
