(no subject)

I had a bunch to say, but it's kind of gone now. I'm just kind of fed up with how things are going, what with not having a place to live or anything. Time is also going really slowly. The day didn't get off to a very good start, as I tried washing off all the makeup Meg's neighbor Carlotta put on me last night before we went to check out the party at the Blue & Purple. I didn't have soap or even a washcloth with which to do this, so it wasn't the most efficent thing to do. Also fun was washing the hairspray out of my hair. And when that's done, I stop to say hi to Kate, because she's awake. And while I'm sitting there talking, Meg wakes up. And then John returns. And they go into Meg's room and shut the door. I think, "Crap. I had wanted to get dressed, but all my stuff is in Meg's room, and I won't be able to go in there for god knows how long." Not the ideal situation, as I had gotten up around ten and had intended to have a more productive day than yesterday had been. And here are my plans being delayed by someone else. So I waited something like patiently until noon, then decided enough was enough.

So I'm on campus now. Today I think I actually will buy some of my books, as I'd been planning to do so yesterday but didn't because we were walking in the general direction of the bookstore about five minutes before closing. The rest of the day consisted of waiting for Kate to come home, and Kristina stopping by on her way to retrieve her car, and some less-than-comfortable moments, a walk to the Sev to get some ice cream because that makes anyone happy, a visit from Carlotta, a trip out to the aforementioned party, and finally, watching LOTR at Carlotta's while drinking.

Didn't sleep very well. It took me a long time to get to sleep, because it was hot and I generally have a hard time getting to sleep anyway. Plus, there was a lot going on in my brain. Then I got up before anyone else.
