(no subject)

Classes have started. I've been to one of them so far, and right now I'm just waiting around for the next one. I should be moving all my stuff tomorrow. Today I want to go buy a towel, though. Arg.

I've slept in my contacts two nights in a row. I should stop this.

Ended up hanging out with Meg last night. I went to auditions for a play, and then went to see if Tim was around and ran into both him and Meg, so we proceeded over to Wimbledon and ate tiny burgers. My parents called me while I was there, offering to come and bring the old bed in the spare room and whatnot. Then the physics people came over, and then Carlotta showed up. Mayhem ensued. A drunken Carlotta cut Doug's hair, which actually turned out okay. The whole group of us went to Green Eggs and Hamm's, but I ended up having to lay across the laps of people in the backseat. There weren't nearly so many people going back, though, because most of them live on campus. (Lucky bastards.)

So school has started, and I'm not sure I'm ready for this.

Ack.

The longer the day goes on, the more I think I'm screwed. I'm fighting the impulse to flee, to just dump all this shit and go do something else at UNM. But I'm not seriously considering that.

I am, however, seriously considering dropping the Bio seminar I signed up for and which meets tonight, in two hours. I no longer remember why I decided to take it, and I think I'll drive myself even crazier if I insist on staying in the class.

So tomorrow I need to get a new adviser, drop that class, declare my major, buy one of my books, and finish moving in.

I think I'll feel better once I've gotten my room set up and whatnot.

I have no idea how to work the shower in my house such that I don't scald myself while getting clean. That sucks. Also, I don't yet feel like I live in my house, so I feel even more homeless than I did before.
