Japanese Cartoons Are Weird, Man

Got back a bit ago from watching anime over at Sarah's. And now I have to say that I concur with Strong Bad's assessment. But weird is good. I left at eleven, and both my parents called me silly. This is a surprise, how? They were just talking the other day about what a strange kid I was. (I pointed out that I must have gotten it from mom, as Amelia is a pretty odd one too.)

None of the things I was planning to do today got done. Aside from going to the bookstore, that is. Got three books, two of them Tolkien-y. I've got reading materials strewn across the bed, most of it not really read today. I am a slacker.

But hey, at least I've quit feeling half dead and having waking nightmares about imagined futures. (Let's just say that the prospect of PATRIOT II being passed scares the crap out of me more than any emergency-type situation ever could.)

I hate it when I leave myself with a cup full of ice after drinking the water faster than it melts. Instant gratification isn't soon enough, to quote Alanna.
