You're Not A Catfish, You're Fish Food
Sep. 14th, 2003 02:50 pmI have colorful hair. It's all streaked with purple, blue, and green. I think my parents are taking it rather well. They don't exactly like it, but they don't have to. It's not their hair. Alexis put purple streaks in her hair, and then we gave Alanna a bullseye.
I also have part of the Bend It Like Beckham soundtrack. It's good stuff.
This is incredibly bizarre. (Though not as bad as Leonard Nimoy singing about Bilbo Baggins...) Some things just don't translate, I guess.
I have a bunch of reading to do today. And I need to type up some stuff for the Pervy Tolkien Fanciers. I'm going to be late to the meeting tomorrow, because it was somehow decided to meet an hour earlier than usual, at a time when at least three of us can NOT make it. I'm mildly annoyed at this. I think it's the way it was decided. Very little discussion. Someone put forth the time, and kept it even though some of us questioned it. That's how it seemed to me, anyway. Plus, I haven't been given a compelling reason why we need to meet early. And I think it would be rather counterproductive to meet at six if there are going to be only two people there at that time anyway. But, whatever. I'm going at seven, and that's that. Whatever happens in the first hour? Not my problem.
