Waiting for God-o
Dec. 10th, 2003 12:32 amOr maybe: Waiting for God. Oh!
Point is, the Sea Captain is probably the only person in the world, certainly the only one I've ever met who pronounces "Godot" as "GOD-oh." Yeah, we get it, it's a pun. But it just sounds stupid when you emphasize it like that.
Theoretically, I was supposed to have another meeting with the SC about my paper today, because of having been "behind the curve" at our meeting last week. I didn't go, because I don't need to have my hand held to write a six-page paper. It's the nine-page philosophy paper that will be the nasty bitch to wrestle with. Because last time I wrote a nine-page paper for anything was... never.
Wrote six pages of Chaucer paper yesterday. It was supposed to have been at least eight. But I could not squeeze two more pages out of it. Still have to finish up one of the response papers for that class. But there's only half a page of that left. Also, my reading test is tomorrow. I picked the Clerk's portrait as the passage I'll read.
I'm leaving the Sea Captain's paper for tomorrow, so that is how my evening will be spent. Thursday I should write my missing response paper for Nietzsche. I love doing things at the last minute. It's how I get my kicks.
Furthermore, spoooooooool.
