Um, More Books
Mar. 17th, 2005 12:24 amI went to the library. In the middle of spring break. And I ventured into the bowels of Zimmerman. I didn't know there was a second basement level. (There's also a third, but it doesn't seem to be public access.) But, there is, and it's vaguely disturbing. And now I have a small stack of books to peruse and choose from for the paper for H. E. L. I'm pretty sure that I won't be using Lakoff's Women, Fire, and Dangerous Things for the paper, but I'll read it anyway. I think I'll be going for the shorter books for the paper, since I'm writing on two of them. Although, the Lakoff and the book on Heidegger might be an interesting pair. But then, so would the books on Chaucer and Coleridge, and both of those are under 200 pages.
And, damn, I forgot to go over to Barnes & Noble to see if they have Roverandom in stock. Ah well. I have some time yet before I need it.
