Box in a Cage
Mar. 18th, 2005 11:19 pmNew icon, made by someone more talented than me. And with access to graphics programs. It's Heidegger, for those of you unfamiliar with the Bruces' Philosophers Song from Monty Python. Yay existentialism.
So, it turns out that I've been driving around with a blown gasket for months. But that's all fixed now (and my car has been washed!), but do I have the car back? No. Because my dad is weird and I don't know what the hell. We could have gone to pick it up at four when it was ready, but for some reason it did not occur to him that I could go along and drive my car back home. So he waited until after my mom got home so they could go get my car. And by the time they went, traffic was horrid, so they came back without even making it over to the dealership. See, if we'd gone at four, traffic wouldn't have been so bad. I just don't understand why he wanted to wait. Can I blame basketball?
And I'm fucking tired of hanging around here. I've spent most of the day in my room because 1. no car, and 2. basketball. Dad's been home watching it, and thus yelling at the TV, which I don't want to listen to, so that means I shut the door and turn the stereo up. So I'm about ready to bust. Plus, I had a sober St. Patrick's Day. So, yeah. I would really like a drink. Especially after realizing that I have three weeks to write my Tolkien journal article. Plus all the other school things. And how few weeks are left in the semester.
I'm tired of things. I need something exciting and fun. Or just something different to do. Spring break of last year I spent doing tech week stuff for Gabrielle's show. It was tiring, but worth it. I'd like to do another show, or just some general theater work. But I don't feel like I have time for it right now. So, I don't know.
