(no subject)

Transfered into Arts & Sciences today. Good to have that done. Now I just have to make them count Chem 101 for core requirements, which means I need to do a credit equivalency something or other. So, that was mostly good news. It'll count, but I have another hoop to jump through for it. But, I also found out that my group requirements weren't quite as in line as I'd thought. Turns out I need another Fine Arts credit. Fortunately though, I can do that with the Literature in Film class in Honors. I wasn't going to take that one, because it could have been too much like the Film & Lit. class I already took. But since it counts for Fine Arts, we'll probably be taking a different angle on it. Also, Scribendi counts for Writing & Speaking. Yay! That's a whole year, so it'll give me the six hours I need. Good stuff.

I've not registered for all my fall classes, because three of the call numbers are not publicly available and I have to get them later. But, my schedule looks pretty sweet. No class on Thursday and nothing before two in the afternoon. I think I'll designate Thursday as thesis day. I'm going to do the thesis through departmental honors, which I can substitute for my Honors senior option. I'm just not sure if I have to sign up for thesis in both the English and Philosophy departments, or if I can sign up through Philosophy and just have a committee of one Phil. prof and an English prof. Or a Phil. prof and Leslie. Must remember to ask Dr. Goodman about that when I return the departmental honors application.
