Happy New *cough* *hack* Year

Yeah, I've joined the ranks of those sick on the new year. Thanks, dad. Well, I'm hoping that whatever it is I got is what dad brought back from Denver, because the alternative is whatever nasty shit my niece and nephew are afflicted with. Because yesterday, the day they're both sick, was the day the chose to hang out in my room, Amelia sniffling the whole freaking time. So, I hope I didn't get whatever bacterial thing they have. Or, well, I hope it's bacterial, otherwise the doctor had no business putting them on antibiotics. Say it with me, kids: Antibiotics are for bacterial infections, not viral ones.
Anyway. Yeah, new year. And this is the year I will finally, at long last, earn my B.A. And the year I'll turn 25. So, it would probably be a good idea to set a goal such as learning to do all those stupid, everyday, boring, adult things that I've been rather spoiled in not having to worry too much about, such as budgeting, feeding myself/keeping a well-stocked kitchen, etc. Another thing I should work on is not reacting to everything with anger. Which should be easier once I'm out of this house and in a place where I'm not around another angry person every day.
