Back in the Bubble Again

So, yesterday I got back from the trip up to Vancouver, B.C. It was a pretty good trip. I ignored the fact that I have lots of work to do, and I actually did relax. Good stuff. We had a really nice hotel room. It was on the corner, and there were four beds, one of them in kind of a separate room. I got to sleep in that one. We went to Chinatown, and Gastown, a show at a comedy club, Stanley park, and the Museum of Anthropology. It was quite a lot of fun. I also discovered that "carding" is not something they do up in Canada, it appears. The only time I was ever asked to show ID was at the border. And yes, I did buy some alcohol. Mostly just a drink with dinner. Monday night wasn't so good. But I don't feel like talking about that at the moment. When we went to Stanley park, the others went biking and I walked around for a while then sat on a park bench to write. I wrote something pretty much every day, planning to put it in here, but I don't feel like doing that at the moment. I'll do it sometime when I really need to procrastinate. Like sometime next week. Or maybe sooner. I don't know. I'll have to call my parents tonight. I probably should have called last night, but by the time I ate dinner and settled in and all, it was already eleven over there, and I figured someone would be asleep. And that is my lame excuse for putting off calling until today. And today is such a warm, beautiful day. And I don't have any chocolate. Maybe I'll walk over to the Sev later to get some M&Ms or something. Mmm, chocolate. I was already at Safeway today and I spent quite enough money on food. All good stuff, though. No junk. Yay me! I should also practice a lot this weekend. Maybe I'll just wait until tomorrow to do that. I procrastinate too much. Oh well. Tomorrow I'll probably feel like I have more time, so I can practice well and not just rush through it. Besides, I should probably go through the music marking things before I go and try to play it. And I don't think I'm going to finish that in time to get over to Prexy today. It closes at seven because it's spring break. And I should probably get over to the library sometime to do some Bio reading. And then there's dinner. Commons closes at five. Grr. I refuse to eat in Commons this week. But then I'll watch Butter Battle, thanks to the wonders of webcasting. *grin*
