In exactly two months, I will turn 21. And as I write these words, the residues of drunkenness still affect me. I'm sober enough to have driven home, however, as I have arrived in one piece and without incident.

So tonight was closing night. The show went well. Overall more energy than the last two nights. Dan was more "on" than he has been. Anna and I cheered loudly at curtain call, even yelled "Convulser Five" for Jack and Patrick, but went unheard. We didn't have much to do for strike. All I had to do was basically the same thing I've done everynight, plus making sure trash was thrown away. (And now I've still got the CD of the soundtrack, plus the first copy of Alanna's unofficial one.) There were scads of people there for strike, many of them unaffiliated with Winter's Tale, so most of us felt like we didn't have much to do. So it was party time.

Apparently I am a Convulser Five groupie )

Overall, a really good night. I'm happy now, even though the show is over. But I'll see some of the cast, mostly those who matter to me, this evening.

Didn't sleep very well last night. For some reason, I couldn't quite fall asleep, but then at the time when I probably would have gone to sleep, my dad decides to mow the lawn, but starts at the edges with the freakin' weed whacker. I tried taking a nap in the afternoon, but it took two hours for this to be successful.

My battery indicator insists that the battery is almost out of power, but I have my computer plugged in. It's perpetually charging the battery, but evidently not making any sort of progress.

And in unrelated news, I passed the 1000 mark in this journal a couple days ago, this entry being #1004. Perhaps I'll do something grand for the next one.
