No, it's Christine de Pizan, The Book of the City of Ladies. The section it's from is called "Refuting those men who claim women want to be raped, rectitude gives gives several examples, and first of all, Lucretia." Some things never change, do they?

I think my Livy's in the garage. I do have some on my shelf, in an anthology in the original Latin.
