Tourist Traps in Winter

sjesterToday I actually got to walk around Old Town and have lunch there with friends. It's strange how dead tourist traps are in winter. Why does anyone bother to stay open then? It was nice, though. I had a sandwich with green chile on it. Yum. That's not going to happen again for a while. It didn't snow today, nor were the roads icy from yesterday's storm-like thing. Ah, Albuquerque weather. If you don't like it, just wait a couple minutes, it'll change. There's supposed to be another snowstorm thing this weekend, just in time for me to leave. If my plane is delayed, I'm going to be one angry chick. Of course, it would be a bit funny, too. Delayed because of snow in Albuquerque.
Today I was thinking that it might be cool to do a thesis on The Wall. That would probably require being an English major, or some such nonsense. (Just kidding Meg.) It would be interesting, though.
What else have I done today? Oh, nothing. I had plans, but the only ones that actually happened were going out to lunch, going to Target, and starting my laundry. Still didn't practice, and I probably won't really get a chance to. I have to go pick up my dad from the airport tomorrow. What fun. I get to mess with the highway, with is rather torn up at the Big I, which is the I-40/I-25 interchange. Well, you can't go anywhere in this city without running into construction on the roads. You'd think we'd have the best roads anywhere with that much construction going on. Hardly.
I should probably go to bed early tonight. I actually have to get up tomorrow. And I might stop by my old high school again, for a senior class meeting at which they're having alumni talk about going off to college. But I would have to leave in the middle to go pick up my dad, so probably not. I still need to go up to Manoa's memorial, though.
I have nothing further. For now.
