Sep. 15th, 2004 10:55 pmDammit, LiveJournal! They gave me only three days warning that my paid account is about to expire. And this while I'm having credit card issues, namely, that the new, non-expired one has not arrived yet, and it's been fifteen days since expiration. Grr. Somebody needs a beating.
I'm so tired that I can't sleep or concentrate on reading. (Actually, tired because I can't sleep, and still can't. Dammit, I'm sick of being awake!) This is not good. But it is good that I'm not compelled to say intelligent things about the reading in ethics class. (Already a lot of people saying idiotic things. And at 9:30 in the morning, I don't give enough of a crap to try and counter them.) And also a good thing that I have a long break in the middle of the day.
This weekend is going to be crazy. Driving up to Denver on Saturday for my sister's wedding (it's at five in the afternoon. Yay) and driving back on Sunday. And going to the LotR symphony on Friday, if tickets are indeed left tomorrow. Last time I checked, the really expensive ones were still available. Go early birthday presents! And I may or may not have theater things to do on Sunday. I got called back for one of the shows, unfortunately the one with a 12:30 time-slot. No way in hell am I going to be able to be back in time. So I'll have to call the people in charge of things and see if some other arrangement can be worked out.
In other theater-y news, we were supposed to have a scene selected to do in class by today. Yeah, I didn't make that deadline. But really, I think I got a bit screwed over in that deal, because I got an entirely new scene partner a week ago. All but one of the other groups had more time to work together in finding a scene. So, Monday is the new deadline. But I think we're going to do something from Danny and the Deep Blue Sea. I've seen a synopsis, and it seems agreeable. I'll have to look at the whole thing tomorrow.
But for now, I should attempt sleep.
